iPhone 4S by Apple is a sturdy phone that manages to be a great mix of function and form. This phone is slightly chunkier than its ultra-sleek successors, however it still manages to look elegant and is small enough to be carried anywhere in your pocket. A 3.5 inch LED backlit IPS LCD display bears the unmistakable mark of quality that we have come to associate with Apple.
iPhone 4S has a the same dual-core 1GHZ Cortex CPU that we saw in iPad 2 and it is capable of handling multiple apps or even advanced gaming with impunity. An Apple A5 chipset and a 512MP RAM might sound tardy when compared with the new phones today but they manage to get the job done. The phone runs on iOS 5 and is upgradeable iOS8.4.
iPhone 4S has a 8MP rear camera which is quite good even under dim light and a 640x480 pixels camera to the front that is good enough for video calling. The metal and glass design of this phone makes it look classy; the glass is fairly resistant to scratches and even manages to hold its own when dropped from pocket height onto a hard surface. This is not a phone that you would have to baby. It has a Li-Po 1432 mAh batter which can provide nearly 14 hours of talk time.
If you would like an iPhone 5 but the price tag is restricting you then the 4S with its similar features and design might be the answer for you. In Pakistan, the iPhone 4S continues to be a popular model despite arrival of its newer siblings.
